The beautiful harbour front of Skopelos pedestrian town with its maze of cobblestone streets filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars invite you to stroll along for hours.
THE RENOVATION PROCESS OF OUR COTTAGES
The Greek country cottages (Kalivia) were used by the family in bygone years when working the land. The wooden sleeping gallery is typically reached via a narrow staircase and looks down into the living room. In the days of old, this area was traditionally covered with wide mattresses allowing sleeping space for all the family together during olive or fruit picking season. Meanwhile the mules and donkeys helping with the transportation of the harvesting were kept in the ground floor level at nights for extra warmth. In the restoration process we tried to preserve the old-world charm of the cottages, while adding a modern feeling and all comforts.
